We are delighted to announce that influential blogger Lorna Mitchell will be making a guest appearance at our Beauty and the Geeks event and will be giving an interesting speech on… That bit is still a surprise but we assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Lorna specialises in development, training and consultancy on various web related topics and is considered as one of the industries leading experts. She is also appearing at this years PHP North West event. Lorna has long been an advocate of female programmers and is a prominent member of PHP women.

In Lorna’s spare time she is an avid netball player and plays for Shipley Netball Club. Also when Lorna was a child she represented her county in the game and now plays in the goal shooter position. Her other interests include cooking, sewing and knitting.

We would like to take this time to thank Lorna and make you aware of her excellent blog. Well worth a read we feel.
